Easy Measurement of Oxygen Saturation and Pulse
The Seagull pulsoximeter (also known as a saturation meter) is a small, indispensable device for those who want to quickly and effortlessly track their pulse and blood oxygen saturation. The measurement is painless, using a sensor on the fingertip, and takes only a few seconds.
Monitoring blood oxygen saturation is especially beneficial for individuals with lung diseases such as COPD. With a pulsoximeter, you can easily check if your lungs are effectively oxygenating your blood. A normal and healthy oxygen saturation level typically ranges between 95-99%.
Pulsoximeters are standard equipment in hospitals nationwide. If you've been admitted to a pulmonary department before, you've likely encountered this small device placed on your fingertip.
How to Use:
- Power On: Press the white button. (If the device doesn’t turn on, check if the batteries are inserted correctly).
- Placement: Open the clamp and insert your finger fully into the device.
- Measurement: Remain completely still while the measurement is being taken. The results are quickly shown on the clear Display.
- Power Off: You don't need to do anything – the device automatically turns off once you remove your finger.
