Pressure-relieving seat cushion for wheelchair

The wheelchair cushion is designed to fit well and stably in the wheelchair, providing excellent support. The underside of the cushion is tapered in the middle to align with the wheelchair's seating area. This shape ensures that the cushion provides a flat and comfortable seating surface for optimal relief.

The cushion is both pressure-distributing (anti-decubitus) and pain-relieving. It is medium-firm and intended for users of medium weight, with a maximum user weight of 110 kg. It features a pink surface with a gray base (4 cm pink + 6 cm gray) and is made of 100% SAFE ViscoPore foam.

The cushion is crafted from quality material, SAFE: Shock Absorbing Foam Exclusive. While quality foam material is essential for the longevity of seating cushions, it is not the only factor. Even if the cushion is covered with a PUR-coated cover, it does not guarantee that it won't become dirty or infected.

That's why it's crucial that the foam can be washed and autoclaved. Regular washing of both the cover and the cushion will ensure a clean and hygienic environment. The seating cushion can be machine washed at 95°C and tumble dried and steam- or hot-air sterilized at 134°C.
