With a waterproof shower protector, you can shower with a cast, bandage, dressing, wound, rash, splint, prosthesis, or anything else that needs to stay dry.
The shower cover consists of a plastic ring with an internal silicone membrane. You slip your hand through, then slide your arm into the vinyl bag. It's important that the silicone seal is positioned over the bandage/cast and fits snugly.
The shower protector measures 57 cm in length and is suitable for lower legs with extra width, having a maximum circumference of 72 cm / Ø25 cm, including the bandage.
Measure from the tip of the foot to the end of the area you need to protect—be it a cast, bandage, prosthesis, or similar. Add 4 cm to find the appropriate length for your shower protector. Be mindful of the maximum circumference measurement, including any cast, dressing, or similar.
How to use your SealProtect shower cover:
- Hold the plastic ring securely, create a wide opening with your hands, and pull the SealProtect up as far as possible. Be careful not to exert pressure on the plastic ring when putting on the SealProtect.
- Ensure that SealProtect is positioned at least 3 cm above the cast, bandage, splint, or similar for optimal protection.
- Gently press the plastic ring down a little so that the silicone membrane faces upwards, as shown in the last image.
It's important to dry the ring and the rubber membrane before removing SealProtect, as water may collect in the ring where the rubber membrane sits.
Safety:
- SealProtect can become slippery when wet.
- Use SealProtect with caution.
- Adult supervision is recommended when children are using SealProtect.
- Only dry SealProtect with a towel.
- Do not dry SealProtect on a heater.
