With a waterproof bath protector, you can easily shower even if you have a cast, bandage, wound, rash, splint, prosthesis, or any other area that needs to stay dry.
This bath cover features a plastic ring with an inner silicone membrane. Simply insert your hand through the opening, then slide your arm further into the vinyl sleeve. Make sure the silicone seal sits above your dressing or cast and fits snugly to prevent leaks.
The bath protector is 66 cm long and fits a full arm with a maximum circumference of 53 cm / Ø18 cm—including the bandage.
To find the right size, measure from the tip of your longest finger to the end of the area to be protected, such as cast, bandage, or prosthesis. Add 4 cm to your measurement for the ideal protector length. Please check that your total circumference—including the cast or dressing—does not exceed the maximum.
How to use your SealProtect bath cover:
- Hold onto the plastic ring and use your hands to make the opening as wide as possible. Gently pull the SealProtect up your arm, taking care not to put pressure on the plastic ring as you do so.
- For best protection, make sure SealProtect sits at least 3 cm above your cast, dressing, splint, or similar.
- Carefully push the plastic ring down slightly so that the silicone membrane is positioned upwards, as shown in the final image.
Be sure to dry both the ring and the silicone membrane before removing SealProtect, since water may collect inside the ring where the membrane attaches.
Safety Precautions:
- SealProtect may become slippery when wet.
- Use SealProtect with care.
- Children should only use SealProtect under adult supervision.
- Only dry SealProtect with a towel.
- Do not dry SealProtect on a heater.
