With a waterproof bathing protector, you can shower with a cast, bandage, wound, rash, splint, prosthesis, or anything else that shouldn't get wet.
The bathing cover consists of a plastic ring with an internal silicone membrane, which you pull your hand through, and then insert your arm into the vinyl bag. It's important that the silicone seal is positioned above the bandage/cast and that it fits snugly.
The bathing protector measures 66 cm in length and is suitable for a full arm with a maximum circumference of 53 cm / Ø18 cm - including bandage.
Measure from the tip of the longest finger to the end of the area that needs protection - cast, bandage, prosthesis, or similar. Add 4 cm to get the correct length for your bathing protector. Be aware of the maximum circumference including cast, bandage, or similar.
ONLINE ONLY - This item is only available for purchase on the webshop and is not available in store.
How to use your SealProtect bathing cover:
- Hold the plastic ring firmly and create a large opening with your hands, pull SealProtect as far up as possible. Be careful not to put pressure on the plastic ring when putting on SealProtect.
- Ensure that SealProtect is at least 3 cm above the cast, bandage, splint, or similar for optimal protection.
- Gently push the plastic ring down a bit so that the silicone membrane faces upwards as shown in the last picture.
It's important to dry the ring and the rubber membrane before removing SealProtect, as water may collect in the ring where the rubber membrane sits.
Safety:
- SealProtect can become slippery when wet.
- Use SealProtect with care.
- Adult supervision is recommended when children use SealProtect.
- Dry SealProtect only with a towel.
- Do not dry SealProtect on a heater.
