If you're unsure about the correct height for your cane, you can easily find the right measurements at home.

As a general rule, the correct length of a cane is approximately half your total height, but you can get the most accurate measurement by measuring from your wrist to the floor as explained below:

Stand upright with relaxed shoulders and arms down by your side - preferably with shoes on.
Have someone measure the distance from the floor to your wrist. This distance corresponds to the length of your cane from floor to the top of the handle. It doesn't have to be exact to the centimeter, but it should not vary more than +/- 2 cm.
