Glide mat, unidirectional

Unidirectional slide mat designed for use in wheelchairs, for instance. The slide mat prevents the user from sliding forward in the wheelchair or any other type of chair.

The slide mat is constructed so that the material only allows sliding in one direction. A person can easily slide all the way back into the chair, but the unidirectional mat ensures that the person does not slide forward again.
