Waterproof bathing cover for protecting bandages and casts on the lower leg.

The bathing cover should not be used on open or unprotected wounds. It's not suitable for swimming but is intended for short-term use only.

Measures 60 cm in length and 41 cm in width.

The ring has an inner diameter of 17 cm and features a soft waterproof silicone membrane, which can stretch significantly around the circumference.

This product is one size and fits legs with a maximum circumference of 53 cm (including bandage).

Measure from the heel to the end of the area needing protection—cast, bandage, prosthesis, or similar. Add 3-4 cm to get the correct length for your shower protector.

More Information

The bathing cover consists of a sturdy rubber ring with a silicone membrane through which you insert your foot and leg into the vinyl bag.

It is crucial that the silicone seal fits snugly above the bandage/cast.

The protector can be reused for up to 2 months. Allow it to air dry between uses. Be aware that the bathing protector can become damaged and slippery when wet.

Instructions for Use

Hold the plastic ring securely. Create an opening with your hands and pull the bathing cover up as much as possible.
Ensure the protector extends at least 3-4 cm above the area that needs to remain dry for optimal protection.
Gently push the plastic ring with the silicone opening down slightly, so water does not accumulate on the silicone edge but instead flows away.

Note: It is important to dry the ring and silicone membrane before removing the bathing cover to prevent water from reaching the areas that need to stay dry.
