Seniorworld was founded by the Wedege family and is now led by the second generation.
When Seniorworld was established in 1980, Lone Wedege worked as an orthopedic technician. In her practice, she often assisted seniors who were unsure where to find technical aids to ease their daily lives.
Realizing the need for a place that combined the sale of assistive products with professional guidance, the idea for Seniorworld was born. Together with her husband Bobbie, Lone turned this idea into reality and later launched Seniorworld's online shop.
Their son, Steffen, quickly took an interest in the family business and played an active role for many years. Today, he oversees the company, while Lone continues to contribute her expertise and experience.
