If you're unsure about the right height for your cane, you can measure easily at home.

As a rule of thumb, the proper cane length is about half your total height, but the most accurate measurement comes from the distance between your wrist and the floor, as described below:

Stand upright with relaxed shoulders and your arms by your sides—preferably wearing shoes.
Have someone measure the distance from the floor to your wrist. This should match the cane length from floor to the top edge of the handle. Precision to the exact centimeter isn't necessary, but try not to deviate more than ±2 cm.
